Customers now have the option to use the virtual currency to load their account with funds and place wagers on the NetBet online sports betting platform and casino.
In preparation for the move, NetBet has been working with Bitcoin payment service provider BitPay to ensure the new payment method meets regulatory requirements in the UK.
In a statement on its website, BitPay said: “This checkout option will allow more NetBet users to get back to playing and placing bets with the peace of mind that their transactions won't expose them to the risk of online payment fraud.”
