Casino games specialist NetEnt has entered the Croatian gaming market for the first time, rolling out content and marketing solutions for a trio of partners.

The supplier has launched games with local operators SuperSport, Germania and Arena Casino, which it claims are the market leaders in the country. Roll-outs with other licensed operators are expected to follow in the coming months.

“We’ve been eying the Croatian market for a while and we are of course happy to make this market entry,” NetEnt Malta managing director Henrik Fagerlund said. “Growing our business in regulated markets is part of the core strategy for the NetEnt group.

“We are excited to put our portfolio of slot games in front of players and I’m certain they will enjoy them.”

The launch follows NetEnt’s entry into two other regulated markets, Colombia and Switzerland, in April.

It moved into Colombia through its partnership with Rush Street Interactive, and after securing the ISO 27001 certification for information security management, was cleared to roll out content for Switzerland’s Grand Casino Luzern and Grand Casino Baden.

Croatia’s igaming market has been regulated since 2010, and overseen by the Ministry of Finance, with the market restricted to operators that run a land-based casino.
