The Nevada Gaming Control Board has posted a year-on-year increase in casino revenue for operators in the US state during June.

Total revenue for the month amounted to $887.4 million (€794.7 million), which was an increase of just under 7% on the previous year.

One-cent slot machines continued to serve as the state’s main source of income, with a total of $254.9 million generated in June, 10.4% more than last year.

Revenue from multi-denomination slot machines also climbed 3.9% to $240.9 million, while 21 and craps also saw increases of 2.5% and 26.5%, respectively.

However, the revenue figure was some way short of the $958.1 million collected in May of this year.
