The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has said that revenue from both land-based and online gambling in the US state increased year-on-year during the month of January.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has said that revenue from both land-based and online gambling in the US state increased year-on-year during the month of January.

Internet gaming win for the opening month of 2017 amounted to $18.8 million (€17.7 million), which represents an increase of 28.6% on the $14.6 million achieved in January 2016.

Land-based casino win for the regulated New Jersey market also improved from $175.5 million in January of last year to $185.9 million in the same month this year.

As a result, total gaming win for the state in January came in at €204.7 million, some 7.7% more than the €190.1 million posted in the corresponding month last year.
