Slots developer Play’n GO has agreed a deal with Paddy Power Betfair that will see the gambling operator directly integrate a selection of its games.

Paddy Power Betfair will launch the content across both its PaddyPower.com and Betfair.com domains, with additional global markets to follow.

The agreement covers established titles such as Legacy of Egypt and Sword and the Grail, as well as new game Demon.

“We’re delighted to offer our customers an exciting and entertaining array of content from Play’n GO,” Betfair’s UK gaming commercial director, Francesco Borsetti, said. “We aim to offer the widest selection of high-quality slot content and, with Play’n GO, we can continue to do just that.”

Play’n GO chief executive Johan Törnqvist added: “This is another step in our plans to partner with leading operators in the UK, and expand our presence in the region. We are excited to bring Paddy Power Betfair and their players our distinctive brand of entertainment.

“This year has been extremely fruitful for us, and it’s partnerships such as this that allow us to finish 2019 on a high and move into 2020 with a strong foundation.”

The deal comes after Flutter Entertainment, the parent company of Paddy Power Betfair, this month brokered a deal to acquire all of the shares in The Stars Group and merge with the operator to form a combined business with annual revenue of £3.8bn (€4.4bn/$4.9bn).

Board members at both Flutter and The Stars Group have assured stakeholders that the deal would pass any competition-related hurdles.
