R.Franco completes Mediatech takeover
R.Franco Group has completed a 100% takeover of Spanish gaming platform provider Mediatech Solutions.
The move follows the Madrid-headquartered gaming company’s purchase of a controlling stake in Mediatech last February.
R.Franco, which is more than five decades old and launched its own digital division in 2014, said the investment in Mediatech is part of its plan for diversification and growth on a national and international level.
It said it will be boosted by the “integration of a highly-qualified human team and a wide range of technological services and solutions”.
R.Franco added that the incorporation of Mediatech will help to promote its technological capabilities and provide a major platform for growth.
“This is a transformative and promising project,” said chairman Jesús Franco. “This transaction consolidates us as one of the most important actors within the gaming industry, and will allow us to provide customers and operators with the widest range of solutions in the market.”
