Scientific Games has announced a number of senior appointments for its new SG Digital division. Unveiled at ICE Totally Gaming last month, SG Digital incorporates the existing portfolio of SG Interactive with those of newly acquired NYX Gaming Group. To support the venture, Ashley Sandyford-Sykes has been brought in to serve as senior-vice-president, with full responsibility for SG Digital’s nine game studios. Sandyford-Sykes is due to join on May 1 and will be based at the firm’s Chiswick office in London, England. The move finalises the full set of previously announced product and technology appointments, which include Keith O’Loughlin joining as senior vice-president sportsbook and platforms, Dylan Slaney, formerly global innovation director, Dunnhumby as senior vice-president gaming, and Chris Armes as chief technology officer. Matt Davey, group chief executive at SG Digital, said: “As an executive team, we are filled with a powerful sense of what we need to do to stand up and seize the opportunity in front of us. “The changes announced today are aligned with that ambition, and I look forward to leading a division of outstanding product and technology talent.” In addition, away from product and technology appointments, Sue Dawson, who currently serves as legal director for the UK at Scientific Games, will now will take on the additional role of deputy general counsel at SG Digital. Scientific Games has also confirmed that Ryan Ripley will become interim chief financial officer at SG Digital. Davey added: “As SG Digital, as an executive team, as individuals, our goal is to deliver on our customer-driven, product-led strategy with clear focus at speed.” Related articles: Scientific Games unveils new SG Digital business SG Digital sets sights on US sports betting and ilottery
