The week’s esports fixtures: 18 to 24 June
iGB, in partnership with Bayes Esports Solutions, is proud to present a regular list of fixtures for some of the most popular esports competitions, helping operators looking to expand into the esports market at a time when interest in the vertical is hitting new heights.
Topping the fixture list this week is the Beyond the Summer’s (BTS) Southeast Asian Pro Series, which runs until June 20. There are 27 fixtures taking place in the tournament this week, with last week’s leaders, Malaysian team Geek Fam, replaced at the summit by Fnatic, a side with based in the UK and Malaysia. Fnatic has won five matches, drawn four, and lost none.
Next up is the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) focused ESEA Season 34 European Premier Division, with 25 fixtures. That runs until 1 July, beginning with a league format before the top eight teams advance to the playoffs. Belarus’ Nemiga Gaming currently tops the table.
Following in third with 14 fixtures is the China-facing LPL 2020 Summer event for League of Legends, running until 9 August. This is a single round robin tournament, with Top Esports and LGD Gaming both currently on three wins.
