XLMedia hands directorial role to Martensson

XLMedia has appointed Jonas Martensson as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

XLMedia has appointed Jonas Martensson as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Martensson currently serves as chief executive of Mojang AB, a Swedish video game developer and publisher that was acquired by Microsoft in 2014.

Previously, Martensson founded betting operator Mobilbet.com and also spent time in various senior roles at Betsson.

Chris Bell, non-executive chairman of XLMedia, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jonas to the board of XLMedia as he brings a wealth of experience in both capital markets, technology and product development and the gaming sector.

“We look forward to leveraging his substantial expertise as we continue to expand our market presence and further capitalise on our significant growth momentum.”
