Yggdrasil Gaming has agreed a deal with GVC Holdings to integrate its video slots directly into the firm’s Italian-facing gaming brands.

GVC-owned websites Bwin.it and Gioco Digitale will be able to offer customers in the country access to an initial 11 games, with further titles to be added over the coming months.

In addition, both Bwin.it and Gioco Digitale will have access to the ‘BOOST’ range of in-game promotional tools, as well as social-sharing tool ‘BRAG’.

Yggdrasil only launched in Italy in January and the partnership with GVC marks the first time that its HTML5 content will be offered in the country.

“We have grown our footprint across Europe this past year; this is the latest in a long line of big deals, and shows the progress we are making and just how desirable our games and in-game promotional tools have become,” Yggdrasil chief executive Fredrik Elmqvist said.

Liron Snir, chief product officer at GVC added: “Yggdrasil titles have taken the market by storm and it is a great step for us to be able integrate this first-rate content into our Italian offer.

“What’s more, their in-game promotional tools are genuinely innovative, particularly the BRAG feature which was a real draw for us.”
