Zynga has completed the acquisition of Solitaire mobile game applications from Harpan LLC in an all-cash deal worth approximately $42.5 million (€35.9 million).
The transaction went through last month and Zynga will now take ownership of the app that is currently ranked in the top 50 games on the US Apple App Store download chart.
The deal comes after Zynga last month also revealed mixed financial results for 2016, as GAAP revenue fell 3% year-on-year to €741.4 million, but GAAP net loss improved by 11% to $108.2 million and bookings increased by 8% to $754.5 million.
“On February 14, 2017, we purchased Solitaire mobile game applications from Harpan LLC for approximately $42.5 million in cash,” Zynga said in a statement.
“As the initial accounting for the business combination is incomplete as of the date of this filing, we will record the preliminary purchase price allocation in the first quarter of 2017.”
