Zynga hands directorial roles to Mills, Roberts

Social gaming company Zynga has expanded its board with the appointment of Carol Mills and Janice Roberts as directors.

Social gaming company Zynga has expanded its board with the appointment of Carol Mills and Janice Roberts as directors.

Mills most recently served as interim chief executive of Blue Coat Systems and is currently chairman of the board for software service firm Xactly Corporation.

Roberts will bring over three decades of venture capital and global technology experience to Zynga, having served on a number of private, public and non-profit boards in recent years.

The pair will now join Zynga’s existing board members Louis Lavigne, Jr., Regina Dugan, Ellen Siminoff, Sunil Paul, William Gordon, John Doerr, Mark Pincus and Frank Gibeau.

Frank Gibeau, chief executive of Zynga, said: “Janice's expertise with global mobile product and technology companies, and Carol’s three decades of experience developing world-class enterprise services and teams, will be invaluable as we focus on unlocking long-term growth in our business and increasing shareholder value.”
