AvatarUX and Yggdrasil roll out festive cracker XmasPop Delight
The title, launched via Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme, offers an innovative take on a traditional slot with the classic cherry symbol sitting inside a winter bauble, the highest paying icon, featuring alongside other fruit icons in this Christmas edition.
The popular PopWins mechanic sees each winning symbol POP and be replaced by two icons, increasing the reel height. This is repeated if more wins occur, expanding the reels to a maximum of six symbols tall during the base game and up to nine in the bonus round.
Fully unlocking the base game with all reels reaching six high, triggers the bonus. Before entering the mode, players have the option to gamble their free spins using the gamble wheel, potentially winning more spins, or directly transporting them back to the base game.
Free spins start with a 2x multiplier and the PopWins mechanic sees the multiplier increase by one with every winning pop-round.
XmasPop Delight is the latest title in AvatarUX’s portfolio of popular titles featuring PopWins and follows player favourites such as CherryPop, TikiPop and PiggyPop.
The title is powered by GATI, Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology that enables partners to consistently employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to produce cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.
Zoe Bird, head of masters at Yggdrasil, said: “With the festive season soon upon us we are delighted to bring some Christmas cheer to our operators and their players with AvatarUX’s XmasPop Delight.
“The PopWins mechanic has been proven over and over again and this seasonal title is another fantastic example of AvatarUX’s innovative approach to slot development.”
Lara Falzon, CEO at AvatarUX, said: “Christmas has come early with this festive-themed game and will be a gift to fans of the PopWins mechanic and players who enjoy vibrant and colourful slots with great potential.
“We are delighted to bring this game to Yggdrasil’s operator partners to enjoy during the jolly season.”
