Bragg Gaming receives B2B supplier approval in Sweden
By gaining the supplier licence, Swedish players will continue to have access to the comprehensive range of exclusive content delivered via Bragg’s remote games server.
Bragg has been active in the Swedish market since 2019 but, in a bid to further clamp down on offshore online gambling, Spelinspektionen has given suppliers to the country’s market until 1 July to apply for accreditation, with the aim of channelling more players into the regulated space.
The Swedish market forms an important part of Bragg’s overall European strategy and 2022 figures from Spelinspektionen put the gross gaming revenue of licensed online operators at approximately SEK12bn ($1.2bn).
Lara Falzon, president and chief operating officer at Bragg Gaming Group, commented: “Our commitment to compliance is a core part of our strategy wherever we supply our content, so we’re delighted to be able to continue to support the regulated industry in Sweden.
“We’re constantly responding to changes in legislation to stay ahead of the curve and to be able to provide our growing, exclusive and localised content portfolio in the multiple international regulated jurisdictions that our customers operate in.”
