Gigadat will attend ICE Barcelona 2026, reflecting growing Canadian executive engagement at the global gaming industry’s leading business event.

ICE Barcelona 2026 continues to strengthen its position as a key meeting point for senior decision-makers across the global regulated gaming industry, with growing participation from Canadian companies reflecting Canada’s expanding influence.

Canadian payments provider Gigadat has confirmed its attendance at the January event, with senior executives representing the company on site. This presence reflects the importance of international dialogue as markets evolve and operational requirements become more complex.

Canada represents a rapidly evolving gaming landscape, shaped by differing regulatory structures across jurisdictions but unified by shared challenges around compliance, payments infrastructure, and scalability. ICE Barcelona provides a neutral forum where these challenges can be addressed alongside international peers, regulators and suppliers.

“ICE has become an essential working event for leadership teams across regulated markets,” said Cliff Nywening, chief operating officer at Gigadat. “Being present allows for more meaningful discussions around alignment, innovation and long-term market development.”

ICE Barcelona 2026 takes place from 19–21 January at Fira Barcelona Gran Via and brings together global operators, technology providers, and regulators to explore the future of gaming. The continued growth of Canadian executive participation underscores the event’s role as a truly international platform for strategic engagement across the industry.

Gigadat representatives will be available throughout the event for meetings with operators, partners and industry stakeholders.
