Clarion Gaming announces content roadmap to ICE Africa Digital
- Packed content plan will pave the way to the digital event on 27-29 October
- Single sign-up gives attendees access to all content across multiple formats
With less than two months until ICE Africa makes its digital debut, Clarion Gaming has set out a packed content roadmap leading up to the event.
This will be delivered across multiple formats, helping raise interest and awareness of Africa’s leading gaming industry trade show – and the opportunities for gaming businesses across the continent.
As the event industry switches to digital channels ICE Africa will adopt an innovative ‘single sign-up’ format. This will allow attendees to register just once to gain access to a wealth of webinars, reports and round-tables, as well as the ICE Africa Digital event itself.
Live now – Women in Gaming
Taking the form of a series of interviews and talks from some of the sector’s leading female executives and regulators, Women in Gaming highlights a diverse cohort of women in the African gaming industry. This includes a two-part interview with Ms Caroline Kongwa, head and chief strategic advisor of the South African National Gambling Board. Part one is online now.
Other interviewees include CEO of the Federated Hospitality Association of South Africa (FEDHASA) Ms Lee Zama and Ms Abena Addo-Mensah, deputy director of operations at the Gaming Commission of Ghana.
16 September – IMGL masterclass
The road to the event will begin with an International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) masterclass, exploring some of Africa’s major gambling markets. This will examine how local operators have adapted to the disruption caused by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, and whether this has prompted increased adoption of online gaming.
1 October – iGB Africa report
For those looking for more insights into African markets, the iGB Africa report, sponsored by sportsbook solutions provider Altenar, will serve as a vital primer on the challenges and opportunities that exist across the continent. A virtual discussion on the report’s key findings will follow, featuring exclusive insights from iGB’s principal data partner H2 Gambling Capital.
27-29 October – ICE Africa Digital
All of this takes place ahead of the event proper, which runs on 27-29 October, on the SwapCard platform.
ICE Africa has been moved online for 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, but it will still deliver the same exceptional outcomes and experiences that delegates expect from Clarion Gaming. All content, both from the road to ICE Africa and the event proper, will be available on-demand after the show.
Now in its third year, the event brings together experts from across the continent and gives delegates with the opportunity to learn, engage and discuss the key market developments. The full line-up of live content will be released as the roadmap to ICE Africa progresses.
To ensure maximum returns from the show, the MATCH platform will pair up delegates based on their needs and goals. This will be underpinned by event coverage via Clarion Gaming’s publishing brand iGB, and bespoke training from Totally Gaming Academy.
