ESA Gaming adds Josefin Uppeke as head of game production
Uppeke boasts more than eight years in the industry and joins ESA Gaming from Lucksome, where she was head of creative and game design. Prior to that, she worked at major igaming content creators Yggdrasil and NetEnt.
She will be responsible for expanding ESA Gaming’s portfolio of EasySwipe titles as well as rolling out a new collection of mobile slots and crash games. A total of 12 titles are expected to be released by the studio in 2023, including additions to its popular Mine series.
The appointment marks another strong step forward for ESA Gaming, which has enjoyed strong commercial growth in recent months.
The studio has recently made strides in African regions and has also expanded its reach in key European markets, cementing its position as a leading provider of non-traditional content.
Thomas Smallwood, head of marketing at ESA Gaming, said: “Having Josefin join the team is a real statement of intent from ESA Gaming. With a stellar resume and a proven track record of delivering market-leading content in her previous roles, we’re confident that she’ll be a key cog in our team moving forward.”
Uppeke herself said: “I’m delighted to be joining the ESA Gaming team at a time of real excitement for the company.
“With plenty of new markets entered and the potential of its EasySwipe portfolio evident across regulated territories, I’m eager to get started and play my part in producing fantastic games for players to enjoy.”
