Evoplay unleashes Tetris-style Neon Shapes

Latest title puts a fresh spin on the classic strategy game

Game development studio Evoplay has unveiled an engaging new instant game, Neon Shapes.

The provider’s latest release delivers a colourful and futuristic twist on the widely loved strategy game, puzzling players by forming horizontal and vertical lines with randomly generated ‘ordinary’, ‘gold’ and ‘orange’ shapes.

Jam-packed with innovative features, the title’s skill-based element allows players to strategically select where to place the shapes in order to gain the strongest advantage.

Yellow and orange blocks both bring payouts, with the latter delivering a blockbuster reward for shrewd bettors who craft a winning strategy. Unlike the original game, filling the whole grid does not necessarily result in a win, so prize-hungry gamblers must adopt the right tactics.

The new title deploys Evoplay’s cutting-edge game engine, Spinential, which delivers load times that are 10x faster, as well as an enhanced UI, autospin feature and game history mobile bar, allowing players to review each winning spin.

Commenting on the launch, Ivan Kravchuk, CEO at Evoplay, said: “Showcasing a revolutionary combination of skill and RNG elements, Neon Shapes offers a futuristic entertainment experience of peerless quality to players across the globe.

“Tailor-made for lovers of strategy gaming, the release’s exciting features make the gameplay simple yet compelling, and we can’t wait to continue introducing exhilarating titles to our ever-growing international audience.”

Neon Shapes joins Evoplay’s high-tech portfolio of more than 100 slots, table and instant games, comprising other smash-hits such as Treasure Mania, Temple of Dead and Fruit Nova.

The provider won plaudits from throughout the igaming industry during 2020 for the distinguished approach to content development it has consistently demonstrated since being founded in 2017.
