Flows launches free-to-play NFL crash game Takedown

New American football game, TakeDown, brings free-to-play crash gameplay into the player journey for anti-churn, missions, login bonuses and gamification.

Flows has launched TakeDown, its first free-to-play crash game through FlowsWave, its player-facing engagement layer.

Already live and delivering strong early results, TakeDown can be triggered by player events and surfaced in-game or at different points across the player journey. This gives operators the flexibility to use it within anti-churn, missions, login rewards and wider gamification campaigns.

Through FlowsWave, operators can fully customise TakeDown to their brand, campaign and audience while Flows manages all the technology and security behind it.

Because FlowsWave works alongside an operatorʼs existing technology and content, new player-facing experiences can be launched without having to rebuild the underlying game or wider platform. This gives operators a faster and simpler way to bring polished new experiences to market.

TakeDown is the first crash game to launch through FlowsWave, with more titles and game formats set to follow.

Andrew Doublesin, CPO at Flows, said: “Crash games have become a major part of the market and TakeDown is a great example of what we can now bring to operators through FlowsWave. We can take a client idea, build around a game style players already know and get it live quickly, fully branded and connected to the wider player journey.

“Because itʼs free-to-play, operators can use it across retention, missions, login bonuses and gamification while Flows handles the technology and security behind the experience. Having seen great results through testing weʼre excited to offer it to operators across the industry.ˮ

akeDown is live now and available for operators and media to try. It will also be available to play at SBC Summit in Lisbon, taking place from 29 September to 1 October, at Hall 2, Stand B643.
