Flows launches Sphere Wheel, a new 3D Spin Wheel mini game

| By iGB content team
New release brings a more immersive take on the classic Spin Wheel, giving operators greater flexibility around prizes, probabilities and player experiences.

Flows has launched Sphere Wheel, its latest interactive free-to-play mini-game through FlowsWave, its player-facing engagement layer.

Building on the popularity of traditional Spin Wheels, Sphere Wheel introduces a more immersive 3D experience while giving operators the ability to include a much wider range of potential prizes and outcomes.

Sphere Wheel can be triggered by player events and surfaced at different points across the player journey, giving operators the flexibility to use it within rewards, missions, login bonuses, retention and wider gamification campaigns.

Through FlowsWave, operators can customise the experience around their brand, campaign and audience, including prizes, probabilities, currency and visual styling, while Flows manages the technology, security and final outcome behind the experience. With more potential outcomes available, operators can offer a broader mix of prizes while controlling the probability of each, with different visual treatments and animations helping to create bigger moments around higher-value wins.

Because FlowsWave works alongside an operator’s existing technology and content, new player-facing experiences can be introduced without having to rebuild the underlying platform. This gives operators a faster and simpler way to bring new interactive experiences to players.

Sphere Wheel is the second mini-game to officially launch through FlowsWave, following the launch of TakeDown, its free-to-play crash game.

Nicola Testasecca, product manager for FlowsWave at Flows, said: “Spin Wheels are already a really familiar and popular mechanic with players, so with Sphere Wheel we wanted to take that experience further and give operators more ways to use it. The 3D format is well suited to mobile, maintaining high visual quality with a much wider range of prizes and outcomes. As with anything built within FlowsWave, operators can brand it, tailor it to different campaigns and connect it into the wider player journey.”

Earlier this month, Flows also launched TakeDown, its first crash-style mini-game through FlowsWave, with more new interactive experiences set to follow.
