OKTO PAYMENTS goes live with A2FBR, powering Pix across six betting brands in Brazil
OKTO PAYMENTS, the leading payment service provider built for high-performance iGaming, is now live with A2FBR, processing PIX across six brands of the Group in Brazil: Pinnacle, Matchbook, BetEspecial, Bolsa de Aposta, Fulltbet and BetBra. In a single coordinated launch, OKTO PAYMENTS becomes one of the group’s strategic payments partners in the country.
The partnership comes at a time when Pix now drives the overwhelming majority of sports betting payments in Brazil, the world’s fifth-largest market, accounting for 54.7% of all transactions in the country and more than 99% of payment volume in the betting sector. With 25 million active bettors in play, any operator without a fast, stable Pix experience pays for it in conversion. OKTO approaches the integration around the group’s multi-branded structure, with a dedicated operational setup behind each of the six platforms.
Beyond Pix, A2FBR also gains OKTO PAYMENTS’ Internet Banking, a complete banking and cash-management platform that puts financial control in the merchant’s hands: a real-time dashboard, detailed statements, Pix and internal transfers, bill and tax payments, invoicing, a multi-user approval station, and granular user permissions. It turns day-to-day financial operations into something the team can run with clarity and confidence. The foundation now in place opens the door to deeper product adoption and continuous performance gains across the partnership.
“This was a highly sophisticated integration because of the scale involved: six brands, each with its own operational structure, all requiring the same high standard of Pix performance. That is exactly the kind of environment OKTO PAYMENTS was built for. We design our systems to work seamlessly across demanding, multi-brand operations, combining Pix infrastructure, treasury, banking and liquidity capabilities with dedicated operational support at every stage. For us, this is the partnership model that creates real value for operators in Brazil,” said Leonardo Chaves, general manager of OKTO PAYMENTS in Brazil.
Rafael Tavares, CFO of A2FBR, mentioned: “At A2FBR, we believe the customer experience begins long before a bet is placed and fundamentally depends on trust throughout the entire payments journey. That is why we are highly selective when choosing our partners, prioritizing companies that share our commitment to transparency, compliance, security and operational excellence. OKTO demonstrated that commitment from the very beginning of this project, combining a robust payments infrastructure with a collaborative, hands-on approach. This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver a fast, reliable and secure payment experience for our customers while supporting the continued growth of our business with the highest standards of governance.”
