On an amazing day of racing action across the country last Saturday, one lucky Bet365 winner picked four consecutive winners at Newcastle, then successfully backed two winners later at Curragh, with the favourite Via Sistina bringing home the £100,000.

The George Boughey-trained mare pipped Stay Alert in the 3.25 Pretty Polly Stakes and despite a nervy wait during a stewards enquiry the result stood.

It marks the first time the total jackpot has been scooped in full by one player, following big consolation prizes paid out at Royal Ascot last month.

Launched ahead of Royal Ascot, where Bet365 paid out £65,000 in consolation prizes, the 6 Horses Challenge gives new and eligible customers the chance to win a share of £100,000 by correctly predicting six winners from six selected races.

Commenting on the mega win, a Bet365 spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to announce our first jackpot winner of the 6 Horses Challenge. Congratulations to one lucky Bet365 customer who combined shorter-priced favourites with a couple of 11/1 and 14/1 shots to correctly predict the winner of all six races and deservedly pick-up the £100,000 jackpot. What a great day of racing!”

Saturday’s game gave customers the chance to win the jackpot prize on the racing at Newcastle and Curragh. One lucky customer managed to pick all six winners and was awarded the full £100,000 jackpot.

Congratulations to the first winner of the 6 Horses Challenge and keep an eye out for our next round, where you could be the next person to claim the £100k.
