Pragmatic Play releases two new baccarat variants

| By Zak Thomas-Akoo

Pragmatic Play, the igaming industry-leading content provider, has expanded its live casino portfolio through the introduction of two new variants of baccarat.

Fortune 6 Baccarat provides a classic baccarat experience amplified by a number of side bets, where players can predict which side, either player or banker, will have a hand whose value is closest to nine. Additionally, they can also place bets on the ‘Fortune 6’ side bet, which is a unique side bet designed by the supplier, offering bumper payouts if a six is drawn in the first three cards, further bolstering Pragmatic Play’s baccarat offering.

Super 8 Baccarat brings a new perspective to the world-famous game, offering a unique side bet that provides wins when the first two initial cards drawn form a natural eight hand. Furthermore, the side bet can also win if the cards dealt to either the player of the banker have the same colour and/or suit.

These latest additions to Pragmatic Play’s live casino portfolio bring an exciting update to the classic game and diversify the vertical’s content.

Yossi Barzely, chief business development officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “Fortune 6 and Super 8 Baccarat allow us to bring a brand-new dynamic to one of the oldest and most popular casino experiences in the world and add additional decision-making to the classic game through unique side bet opportunities providing more ways to win.

“These titles further upgrade an already leading vertical that blends together traditional games such as blackjack and roulette with the innovative game show-inspired Sweet Bonanza CandyLand and we remain confident in our ability to produce titles that players love.”

Pragmatic Play currently produces up to seven new slot titles a month, while also delivering live casino and bingo games as part of its multiproduct portfolio, available through one single API.
