SB Software appoints Filip Sosnowski as new CEO
Sosnowski brings a great deal of experience to SB Software having spent many years at the likes of Greentube and STS Gaming Group, where he held management positions and was responsible for product and international business development.
Commenting on his appointment, Sosnowski (pictured above) said: “I have experience with various gambling platforms, that’s why I’m very excited to discover the potential and quality of solutions offered by SB Software. The success stories of current clients, who are constantly growing their businesses using SB Software products, is extremely motivating.”
The new CEO replaces SB Software founder Claus Rasmussen, who has managed the company since its inception 13 years ago. Rasmussen will remain within SB Software as chairman of the board and company owner.
“We have reached the next step in the development of the company. That is why I have decided to strengthen the composition of the management further and pass over the steering wheel along to Mr Sosnowski,” said Rasmussen. “It was important to me that the new CEO not only knows and understands the specifics of the Polish igaming market but also has wide international experience. The decision was not difficult; Filip Sosnowski is an igaming veteran and additionally meets all requirements, which is extremely important to me.”
In his new role, Sosnowski will be responsible for continuous platform and in-house tools development to provide solutions tailored to sports betting and online casino operators.
“SB Software’s priority is to maintain a strong position as a leading software provider in the African, Polish and Georgian markets, as well as to acquire clients in new regulated markets,” Sosnowski said. “Our solutions are innovative and definitely competitive. I’m confident about it.”
The new position also entails team management, something that chimes with Sosnowski. “I’m pleased having so many talented employees and a professional, experienced IT team in our offices in Poland and Malta. I’m sure that together we will fully utilise coming opportunities.”
