Stakelogic surfaces a lost world in new release Sunken City Riches
Stakelogic has launched Sunken City Riches, a 1,024-ways slot in which collecting scatter symbols permanently unlocks a chain of reel modifiers, building towards a Mystery Pick Bonus and a top multiplier of x15,000.
The game takes players down into the flooded ruins of a forgotten civilisation, where overgrown stonework and clockwork machinery sit side by side beneath the water. Wilds land on reels two to five and substitute for every paying symbol, and can be split and multiplied.
Progress is driven by Treasure Map Scatter symbols, which can appear anywhere on the reels and feed two separate meters at the same time. The Treasure Map Meter unlocks a new feature for every four scatters collected.
Payway Maker copies a random symbol from reel one across the remaining reels to build a winning way, Symbols Upgrade promotes a random paying symbol to the highest value on the paytable, Add Wild Multipliers drops between one and three multiplier wilds onto the grid, and Split Symbols divides up to 10 symbols of differing types. Each feature stays live once it has been unlocked, triggering at random on later spins, and more than one can land on the same spin.
Running alongside it, the Gem Meter banks the multiplier values carried by each scatter rather than paying them out immediately. Those values are graded by colour, rising from green at 1x to 10x through blue and red to purple at 500x to 1,000x. Once 20 gems have been gathered, the Mystery Pick Bonus opens and the collected gems are carried into a pick round, where players choose gears until the Collect Gear is revealed and the resulting multiplier is applied to the stake.
Free Spins Scatter symbols can also land across all reels, with three or more triggering the Free Spins feature and retriggers awarding three, four or five additional spins. Every feature is available during the round, with at least one guaranteed on each spin. Players can activate Super Stake for 50% of the base bet to double their chances of triggering free spins, or purchase the bonus outright for 100x their stake.
James Jelliffe, head of slots at Stakelogic, said: “Sunken City Riches is built around progress that sticks. Instead of handing players one feature and then resetting, the Treasure Map Meter keeps adding to what the reels are capable of, so the game a player is looking at after some spins is not the same game they started with.”
“Pairing that with the Gem Meter gives players two things to chase at once, and because the multipliers are visibly banked before they are paid, the Mystery Pick Bonus arrives with real weight behind it. It is one of our most feature-dense releases to date and we think players will enjoy piecing it together.”
