WSF Odds adds new First Team football betting markets

WSF Odds has launched 12 new First Team football markets, expanding its performance betting offer with fast-settling markets focused on early match events.

WSF Odds has announced the release of 12 new First Team betting markets, expanding its football performance betting portfolio for sportsbook operators.

The new markets are designed around early in-game actions and identify which team is first to register a specific event. These include first corner, first foul, first offside, first shot, first shot on goal and first yellow card. Each market is available in a standard 90-minute format and a version that includes extra time.

Each First Team market offers three outcomes. Home team, away team or no event occurring within the defined timeframe. This structure allows sportsbooks to open betting immediately after kickoff and settle markets quickly, shifting attention toward the opening phases of a match rather than full-time results.

With this release, WSF Odds’ football performance portfolio now includes more than 80 betting markets. The expanded range enables operators to build event-driven betting experiences across both pre-match and live environments while maintaining consistent pricing and settlement logic.

The First Team markets are being rolled out across a wide range of domestic leagues, international tournaments and cup competitions worldwide, including major European leagues and global football events.

Filippo Celleno, product owner at WSF Odds, said: “These markets are designed to turn the opening moments of a match into clear and actionable betting opportunities. By focusing on first on-pitch events, sportsbooks can offer simple markets that are easy to understand and quick to settle, while remaining straightforward to deploy.”

The new markets can be configured and activated across both pre-match and live environments using existing workflows. This allows operators to extend betting activity from kick-off and add early match engagement without additional complexity.
