Yggdrasil journeys to the end of the rainbow in 3 Lucky Leprechauns
4ThePlayers’ latest game, 3 Lucky Leprechauns has been released via Yggdrasil, just in time for St Patrick’s Day.
The 5×3, 243-ways-to-win, feature-filled slot, sees a leprechaun act as a wild during base gameplay.
Players can choose their preferred leprechaun, including a rare female leprechaun, from one of three memorable characters as they bid to uncover the riches of the rainbow.
Three pots of gold trigger the leprechaun trail bonus feature. Here players can enjoy cash prizes, win spins, or a pick-a-win bonus.
Three scatters start the trail, with more scatters ensuring that you start at a higher level on the trail. If the top of the trail is reached, the trail’s maximum prize of 5,000x is awarded.
3 Lucky Leprechauns is the latest 4ThePlayer creation to join the YG Masters portfolio, following the successful 7 Gold GigaBlox, as the provider continues to develop and release top-performing and innovative titles.
Players can progress straight to the bonus, in certain jurisdictions, through one of three buy feature options.
Stuart McCarthy, head of product and programmes at Yggdrasil, said: “Our work with 4ThePlayer sees them generate top-performing games with a variety of engaging themes, mechanics, and volatilities.
“We’ve enjoyed a fantastic partnership with them since the very early days of the YG Masters initiative, and the success we’ve had together is evident in all our games.”
Henry McLean, co-founder and commercial and marketing director at 4ThePlayer, said: “We always create games with a purpose, and this game was created as a direct response to player feedback and industry demand on the topic of ‘Massive Marketing Max Wins’; that huge wins are unobtainable from a player perspective and a huge liability challenge from an operator’s perspective, especially in highly regulated markets such as the UK.
“The response is an entertaining, super active slot where wins come in on average 1 in 3.7 spins, while the bonus triggers on average 1 in 75 spins – a feature frequency rarely seen online. This frequency is coupled with a very obtainable max win of 5,000x bet, rather than a ‘max win headline’ that looks attractive but that in reality would just gather dust as it is so infrequent. For players and operators, this finds the perfect sweet spot: players are impressed with the win potential and win frequency, while operators are not concerned about their potential exposure.”
