Yggdrasil, the leading publisher accelerating igaming innovation, has partnered up with Bang Bang Games for a spooky shipwreck adventure in Shadow Raiders MultiMax.

In this game, released exclusively via the YG Masters programme, the 5-reel, 243-payline slot sees ghoulish pirates appear across the reels and incorporates the hugely popular MultiMax game engagement mechanic (GEM).

Every winning combination will be removed from the reels and a multiplier is added to one of the skulls atop the matrix. Every win also generates a wild in an empty position and increases the multiplier at the top of that reel by 1x for the next spin.

On any cascade, all remaining spaces can be filled by a booty bomb. This will reveal all symbols of the same type, or cash prizes, for significant win potential.

Three or more bonus symbols awards eight free spins, with the MultiMax multiplier not resetting between spins, leading to impressive winning combinations worth up to 15,000x the player’s stake. Free spins may also be gambled twice and players may win up to 14 free spins.

In certain jurisdictions, players can progress directly to the bonus round via a buy bonus.

Shadow Raiders MultiMax is powered by GATI, Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to consistently produce cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.

Stuart McCarthy, head of product and programmes at Yggdrasil, said: “Our work with Bang Bang Games has continually produced fantastic games, and Shadow Raiders MultiMax is yet another example.

“Building on the popularity of one of our most popular GEMs, the game combines a fantastic theme with a dark, haunting element, as well as massive wins.”

Frank McPolin, managing director at Bang Bang Games, said: “Shadow Raiders MultiMax combines high volatility, a popular mechanic and fantastic artwork into one swashbuckling adventure unlike any other.

“We continue to create strong content as part of the YG Masters programme and look forward to this game being rolled out across its operator network.”
