Delaware igaming revenue reaches year-high in August

Online gaming revenue in Delaware reached a year-high of $945,512 (£690,206/€808,532) in August, despite player spending slipping to its lowest monthly total since April.

Revenue was up 16.9% year-on-year from $808,623 in August 2020 and also 19.2% higher than $793,017 in July of this year.

Video lottery was responsible for $762,503 of total igaming revenue during the month, while table games revenue reached $150,677 and revenue from poker rake and fees amounted to $32,332.

Players spent a total of $21.7m on online gaming in August, up 9.6% from $19.8m in the same month last year, but down 13.2% from $25.0m in July this year.

Delaware Park remained the market-leader in the state in August, posting $371,964 in revenue from $9.2m in wagers, while players won $8.9m.
