Evolution expands out of Europe with new Canada studio
Evolution Gaming has announced plans to expand its service offering outside of the European market for the first time by opening a new studio in Canada.
Scheduled to launch before the end of the year, the site in the Metro Vancouver area of British Columbia will be Evolution’s eighth such facility.
Evolution has agreed a five-year deal with the regional British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) to provide live casino via the organisation’s PlayNow.com website.
At launch, BCLC, via PlayNow.com, will offer 10 online live tables for blackjack, baccarat and roulette to players across desktop, tablets and smartphones.
“Entering the Canadian market with BCLC signifies a huge breakthrough, outside of our European operations,” Evolution chief executive Martin Carlesund said,
“This latest expansion consolidates Evolution’s position as global leader in the B2B live casino market; this delivery further highlights our ability to provide solutions that meet the most stringent requirements of regulated markets.”
Monica Bohm, vice-president of igaming at the BCLC, added: “We are delighted to enter into this agreement with Evolution, to bring the thrill of live, interactive casino gaming to our online players.
