32Red growth driven by mobile and casino
32Red recorded a 63% year-on-year increase in total net gaming revenue during the first half of 2016.
In a trading update the gaming operator said it brought in £30.4 million (€38.4 million/$42.6 million) in the six months to June 30, with double-digit growth in a series of other key indicators.
32Red said the “excellent performance” was driven by a combination of strong organic growth in its core business, which was up 32% to £23.5 million. It said these gains were due to its “highly effective and growing marketing investment”.
The company suggested that casino segment and mobile growth, a contribution “in line with expectations” from Roxy Palace, and a 33% increase in Italian revenues also helped to drive its success during the period.
Describing a “record revenue performance”, 32Red chief executive Ed Ware said: “This reflects the core strengths of the business: our strong brands, first class customer service and marketing expertise.
“32Red is in excellent health with a number of exciting opportunities ahead. We have a focused strategy to deliver continued organic growth as well as potential acquisition opportunities and we continue to look to the future with confidence.”
