Atemi surpasses revenue expectations in 2019

Atemi has set an increased revenue target for 2020 after it posted better-than-expected results for 2019, while the online gaming affiliate has also launched a new flagship comparison site in the UK and US.

Atemi has set an increased revenue target for 2020 after it posted better-than-expected results for 2019, while the online gaming affiliate has also launched a new flagship comparison site in the UK and US.

Revenue for the 12 months through to 31 December 2019 amounted to $39m (£30.5m/€35.2m), up 69.8% year-on-year from $23m in 2018.

Atemi said that having surpassed its initial expectations for the year, it has set a new, increased revenue target of $52m for 2020.

“2020 is going to be a transformational year for the company in which we are continuing to build our profile as the dominant player in sports betting comparison globally,” Atemi founder Richard Skelhorn said.

“Our combination of team and technology along with our strategic focus on cross-vertical organic growth in regulated markets is proving hugely successful.”

Meanwhile, Atemi has announced the launch of BetCompare.com, a new flagship comparison site that will focus on the sports betting market. The site will is now live in the UK and US, with plans to also launch in other markets.

Users will be able to compare a wide range of regulated sports betting operators from around the world.

“We continue to deliver the highest value customers at scale to operators while setting the standard in compliant and responsible advertising,” Skelhorn said. “The year is off to a great start and BetCompare is the first of a number of new projects scheduled to launch.”
