Betcade, the first gambling mobile application store for Android, has launched what it says is the igaming industry’s first general purpose payment method.

Available for integration to gambling operators, ‘Betcade Pay’ has been designed specifically for mobile gambling and accepts all major payment methods.

Betcade said the new solution will begin to process Visa and MasterCard in the UK by the first quarter of next year, with plans to host more than 50 global payment methods by the end of March as it expands across Europe.

The company also said it intends to add further payment methods during the next 12 months.

David Chang, chief executive of Betcade, said: “We’ve been working closely with operators and others in the industry all along to develop our product, roadmap and business model.

“Numerous operators are very positive on the payments component and have been asking to use the technology separately, so we have decided to make Betcade Pay available as a distinct product.

“Not only will it help facilitate payments for both operators and users, Betcade Pay will help drive higher KPIs as well as offer competitive pricing structures for operators the world over.”
