Catena Media names new group CFO

iGaming marketing company Catena Media has appointed Claes Wenthzel as its new group chief financial officer.

Wenthzel will commence his new role next month, bringing with him almost 20 years of experience in senior financial positions within a number of companies.

His most recent roles include a spell as interim chief financial officer for Pricer AB, financial advisor to the chief executive and the board at Doro AB, as well as financial advisor and M&A consultant at Mycronic AB.

Patrik Bloch will remain with the company as chief financial officer of the Catena Media Operations division.

Robert Andersson, chief executive of Catena, said: “I am very happy and proud of the fact that we have managed to attract such an experienced professional like Claes Wenthzel.

“Claes has solid and relevant competence and will play an important role in our preparations in moving our common share to Nasdaq Stockholm.”

In a statement, Catena added that Wenthzel’ss appointment forms part of the board’s decision to initiate a change of listing from First North Premier to Nasdaq Stockholm.

The company added that “preparations are proceeding according to plan” and expects to complete the list change during the first half of next year.
