Coral Interactive, a division of Ladbrokes-Coral, has taken up its equity investment option in EEyaa to match the shareholding interest already made by UK bookmaker William Hill in the betting software provider in 2014.

A Ladbrokes-Coral director will also assume a seat on the board of EEyaa, which completed deployment of the EEyaa Adaptor software component for the OpenBet product suite a year ago.

Using this Adaptor facility, Coral and Ladbrokes can access overseas racing content for thoroughbred, harness and greyhound races.

The component was developed by OpenBet in a two-year project commissioned by EEyaa and provides a single wager path connection to EEyaa’s international tote service.

“This development has delivered a real industry first, a single integration delivering access to multiple international racing events,” EEyaa said.

“In a stroke, it has changed the game when it comes to sourcing new overseas racing content. The investment by Coral Interactive in EEyaa will secure their leading position in the further development of the EEyaa product set.”
