GIG acquires affiliate network assets

Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has agreed to acquire the affiliate assets of a mystery international affiliate network company.

Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has agreed to acquire the affiliate assets of a mystery international affiliate network company.

GIG stated that it will pay a consideration of €3.5 million ($3.7 million) in cash for the assets of the so far unidentified operator.

GIG added that the acquisition will “significantly strengthen” its position within the digital marketing service space of the online gambling market.

The agreement remains subject to satisfactory due diligence, but is expected to be concluded before the end of the current quarter.

Robin Reed, chief executive of GIG, said: “GIG is aiming to build the leading performance marketing company in our industry.

“The aim is to direct more of the traffic of paying users online to our eco-system.

“We’ve purchased a solid business with a strong track record on an attractive multiple, and we believe we can enhance the business further with our best-in-class SEO experts and technical resources.”
