Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has revealed that it was able to achieve record levels of revenue in January, despite a slight decline in its B2C business.

Total deposits for the month amounted to €22.7 million ($24.2 million), with the company posting margins of 3.63% for casino and 8.3% for sports betting.

GIG said that although the total number of active real-money players in the three months from November 2916 to January this year fell 3.9% on the period from October to December 2016, this was mainly due to the migration of Betit brands to the GIG iGaming Cloud platform in November.

Of the total 183,521 of players, 160,383 only played casino games, while 6,572 stuck to sports and 2,971 only played poker, with the remaining 6,347 active in more than one category.

Total registered users as of January 31, 2017, stood at 1.54 million, compared to 1.48 million at the end of December.
