GLI Group has confirmed the acquisition of NMi Metrology & Gaming and various related assets.

NMi, which has offices in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Canada, will continue to operate under its NMi Gaming brand name for the foreseeable future.

GLI Group said that NMi clients can expect a “business as usual” approach, while at the same time benefiting from “instant global” reach through GLI’s accredited 475 jurisdictions.

In addition, GLI said that the transaction will benefit its own clients by allowing the company to provide greater levels of service and attention.

James Maida, chief executive and president of GLI, said: “Over the last two years, the GLI Group has completed multiple strategic acquisitions, such as Bulletproof, Kobetron Inc. and Gaming Informatics LLC., which further enhance our business offerings and increase the level of customer service that the GLI Group provides to our gaming clients globally.

“Now, with the acquisition of NMi Gaming, we have created synergies that are beneficial to both NMi and GLI clients and provides additional bandwidth for even greater customer service.”

Andrew Rosewarne, director of NMi, added: “This is an excellent opportunity for our customers, as this allows us to leverage GLI’s worldwide coverage while retaining the dynamism of our independent operations.”
