Kambi Group has been named in the first ever edition of the FT 1000, a list of Europe’s fastest growing companies compiled by the Financial Times newspaper.

The sportsbook provider was placed at No.657 in the inaugural list, which was put together by the newspaper alongside data provider Statist.

Rankings were determined by growth in revenues between the years 2012 and 2015, with only companies generating revenues of at least €100,000 ($106,170) in 2012 and at least €1.5 million in 2015 qualifying.

Kambi posted revenue of €19.1 million in 2012 and this total increased to €47.7 million by 2015.

Kristian Nylén, chief executive of Kambi, said: “To be named among Europe’s fastest growing companies by a publication as prestigious as the Financial Times is a real honour and further evidence of Kambi’s position as sports betting’s premium and secure choice.

“I would like to thank every member of our hardworking team. Without their talent and dedication, this would not have been possible.”
