New Jersey online gaming revenue up again in September
New Jersey's online gaming market achieved further growth in September, with the US state generating $16.2 million (€14.7 million) in revenue.
The figure not only represents a jump of 35% on the $12 million collected in the corresponding month last year, but also a slight increase on the total generated in August of this year.
However, despite this growth, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement said casino win for the month was down 3.5% year-on-year to €210.4 million.
September’s results mean that online gaming revenue for the year-to-date stands at $144.5 million, 32.9% more than at the same point last year.
Casino win for the US state is at $1.85 billion, which is 0.2% lower than at the end of September 2015.
