New York sports betting revenue doubles in November

Gross gaming revenue from sports betting in New York doubled year-on-year in November to $2.6m, according to new figures published by the State Gaming Commission.

The monthly total was up from $1.3m in November 2019, and also level with the $2.6m recorded in October of this year.
Rush Street’s Rivers Casino and Resort in Schenectady continued to lead the New York market in November, posting $1.1m in sports betting revenue, up 91.2% on last year and level with October’s total.
The del Lago Resort and Casino in Waterloo, with its DraftKings sportsbook, was second with $949,710 in revenue. This was 312.8% more than the same month last year and 23.1% higher than October this year.
Tioga Downs Casino in the Fingerlakes, which runs a FanDuel sportsbook, placed third with $347,089, up 463.3% on November 2020 and 12.9% up on October’s total.
