Online gaming growth continues in New Jersey

New Jersey was able to generate $18.7 million (€17.6 million) in online gambling revenue during February, 27% more than the corresponding month last year.
Data released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement showed that the February amount was only slightly lower than the $18.8 million collected in January.
Online gaming win for the year-to-date now stands at $37.5 million, up 28% on the amount posted at the same point last year.
Away from online gambling, New Jersey’s land-based casino market generated $186.6 million in February, down almost 2% on the same month on 2016.
However, despite this drop, total gaming win in February amounted to $204.7 million, 0.3% up on last year, while overall gambling win for the year-to-date is up 4% to €410 million.
