Saga exec Hill appointed Paddy Power Betfair CFO
Paddy Power Betfair has appointed Jonathan Hill as its new chief financial officer.
Hill, who will join in the autumn, has left insurance and travel company Saga to take on the role surprisingly vacated by Alex Gersh earlier this month.
The move was welcomed by new Paddy Power Betfair chief executive Peter Jackson.
“We're delighted that Jonathan is joining us,” said Jackson. “He brings substantial strategic and operational finance experience in consumer businesses and I am confident he will make a significant contribution to Paddy Power Betfair's future success.”
Hill, who had been employed at Saga since 2015, was also previously group finance director at Bovis Homes. He has also held senior financial roles at Tui and Centrica.
Hill said: “I am excited to be joining a business with great brands, differentiated products and substantial international scale.
“There are many opportunities to drive shareholder value and I look forward to being part of the team to deliver this.”
