TopBetta reveals revenue growth in second quarter
Australia’s TopBetta has reported a 95% year-on-year increase in revenue for the three months through to December 31, 2017.
Total revenue in the second quarter amounted to A$6.9m (€4.5m/US$5.5m), while turnover also hiked 52% year-on-year to A$82.9m.
Meanwhile, TopBetta also saw its number of active unique clients increase by 30% in the period to 14,233.
In a statement, TopBetta cited the growth of its Global Tote businessas one of the major factors behind this improvement, as well as a positive performance by its retail business in Australia.
Todd Buckingham, managing director at TopBetta, added: “I am pleased to update shareholders that the company is exactly where we thought it would be regarding total company turnover, if not slightly exceeding our own expectations, which has resulted in healthy revenue growth.
“Our active unique client number, 14,223, is the highest it has been and it positions us well for a strong 2018.”
