Under the deal, Fonbet will serve as the official sports betting partner of the team in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.
The Fonbet brand will be visible during AC Milan Serie A home games to fans watching in Russia and the CIS region, as well as on the club’s official website and mobile app.
In addition, Fonbet will work with AC Milan on promotions for its customers and to produce exclusive contents for supporters in Russia and CIS countries.
“This agreement with AC Milan leads us to a higher international level; Fonbet is one of the most innovative brands, not just in Russia, but also in the CIS region,” Fonbet chief marketing officer Alina Yakirevich said.
“This new partnership will help us strengthen the image of a solid and leading betting company.
AC Milan chief revenue officer Casper Stylsvig added: “Football is driven by emotions and passion and this strategic partnership allows us to share our global growth path with one of the most innovative and solid brands in Russia and the CIS region.”
While domestic-facing gambling sponsorships are banned in Italy, a number of the country’s leading football clubs have secured deals with operators focused on other regions, which are allowed.
