Gaming Corps names Alex Lorimer as COO

| By Richard Mulligan
Content developer Gaming Corps has promoted Alex Lorimer to the position of chief operating officer.

Lorimer, previously head of business development, will have responsibility for the operational management of production within the igaming business area in his new role, working in collaboration with the business’s operator clients and aggregators.

Lorimer joined Stockholm-listed Gaming Corps in January after more than two years at iSoftBet.

“I am very happy and proud to welcome Alex Lorimer to the role of COO,” said Juha Kauppinen, Gaming Corps’ chief executive.

“Since joining Gaming Corps, he has translated his experience of business development and planning within igaming into significant progress for the company in terms of market-oriented product development.

“My goal has been to recruit the right staff for Gaming Corps, people who have their hearts in the right place, and Alex really does. He is the right person to lead the operational activities forward.”

Lorimer’s appointment comes after notable announcements for Gaming Corps in recent weeks, such as partnerships with Betsson Group and Kaizen Gaming.

Lorimer said: “Since I started at Gaming Corps, it has been a fast-paced journey that I look forward to continuing, and I am incredibly proud and grateful to have had the privilege of taking on this role from CEO Juha Kauppinen.

“We have listened to our partners and taken into account their knowledge of market demand and then developed products that the operators are eagerly awaiting.

“The forthcoming portfolio has significantly increased our opportunities to attract new business and engage important industry players. I am dedicated to Gaming Corps’ vision and ready to contribute to leading the Company forward at a rapid pace.”
