Global Gaming and Finnplay launch NanoCasino in Sweden
Online gambling operator Global Gaming has recommenced activities in Sweden after rolling out new brand NanoCasino in partnership with igaming technology and platform provider Finnplay Group.
The NanoCasino.com website will operate under a Swedish commercial online gaming licence held by Viral Interactive Limited, which has a marketing arrangement in place with one of Global Gaming's subsidiaries.
Viral Interactive, which is a subsidiary of Finnplay, will have full responsibility for operating the NanoCasino.com site in Sweden.
Details of the new online casino brand were announced last month, shortly after Global Gaming and Finnplay signed off on a new technology agreement. The deal grants Global Gaming access to Finnplay’s full portfolio of solutions and complete platforms for online gaming.
Aside from Sweden, Finnplay is licensed or approved for commercial use in the UK, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark, Estonia and Mexico.
“It is incredibly exciting that Viral is now launching NanoCasino.com with us as a partner; I hope, and have reason to believe, that Swedish customers will enjoy it,” Global Gaming chief executive Tobias Fagerlund said.

Finnplay CEO Martin Prantner added: “We are looking forward to launching our new brand NanoCasino.com in Sweden and benefiting from Global Gaming’s marketing expertise and resources.
“Being a Nordic gaming platform provider, Sweden is our home market and we are committed to upholding the strict standards of the regulation.”
The launch will come as a boost to Global Gaming, which in June saw its SafeEnt subsidiary stripped of its licence in Sweden by national gambling regulator Spelinspektionen. At the time, the regulator cited serious breaches of the country’s player protection and anti-money laundering processes as the reason behind the move.
Global Gaming maintains that the punishment is disproportionate and is still in the process of appealing the decision.
When contacted by iGamingBusiness.com, Spelinspektionen declined to comment on the launch of the new NanoCasino.com site.
