Greentube, the interactive division of Novomatic, has launched in the Argentinian capital city of Buenos Aires through its deal with Swedish operator Betsson.

This marks Greentube’s debut in Argentina. Greentube’s titles – including Book of Ra, Star Supreme and Lucky Lady’s Charm – are now available to Betsson customers in the city.

“It is very exciting for us to introduce our content in Argentina and we are thrilled to make our market debut together with our trusted partner Betsson,” said Lisa Sandner, sales and key account manager for Argentina at Greentube. “Going live in Buenos Aires is an important part of expanding our presence in LatAm where we have already gained a lot of traction and the local audience has embraced our content.

“We can’t wait to see how our popular titles are received by local online players in the region.”

Betsson launched its online gambling platform in Buenos Aires in February, after receiving a licence from the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos.

Betsson is one of the most recent to go live, after a number of operators received licences early in 2021 and went live in December.

Its partnership with Greentube first began in 2017.

“From our existing partnership we know that our customers enjoy playing Greentube’s premium content and we are very happy to be the first operator to launch their games in Argentina,” said Laura Peretta, supplier relations manager at Betsson. “This is a very exciting region for igaming and we are dedicated to offering players the best experience.

“With Greentube’s content we significantly increase our offering in the country.”

Since the beginning of the year Greentube has also debuted in Italy and Greece.
