Junior QA Engineer

Reporting to the Head of QA, you will work as a Junior QA Engineer, responsible for product based Manual Testing, as well as be exposed to Automation testing. You will be part of a small team of talented QA Engineers following varying delivery practices to implement high quality Testing and Quality Assurance using the latest and greatest tools, to deliver high quality products to our users.
You will be joining our Software Development QA Team working on both Sports and Casino product, helping enhance our product offering with innovative new features. This is an exciting time as we continue to grow based on the continuing success since the launch of our product in December 2021. Due to the team size there is plenty of opportunity for growth and progression within the team/company.
You will learn how to improve your overall product knowledge, as well as up-skill on Testing and Quality Assurance procedures and best practises.

Responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Planning and executing Testing coverage on smaller ‘Support’ issues, and ‘Small Works’
• Creating Test Plans and Test Scripts for new features of work, scaling from smaller ‘Change Requests’ to larger ‘Projects’
• Producing Test Documentation, supporting Knowledge base documentation, and holding knowledge transfer sessions with the wider QA Team
• Following Testing and QA best practises, striving for high standards of work
• Attending Team and Work based meetings such as daily stand ups, weekly checkpoints and retrospectives
• Triggering Automated tests on both the frontend and backend as part of Regression testing of frequent releases to Production
• Troubleshooting and reporting Maintenance issues on automation scripts
• Although this role is mostly a Manual Junior QA Engineer role, as you progress and develop within the Team, you will have the opportunity to work more closely with our Automation Engineers to develop your Automation skills with regards to writing Automated Tests.

You will gain experience in

• Manual QA and Testing, covering many different Testing Methods including Functional Testing, Compatibility Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, Destructive API Testing and more
• Producing Test Documentation to high standards and in lines with Testing Best Practices
• Defect Management, raising defects based on their impact and severity, providing clear and concise descriptions and steps to reproduce.
• Gain valuable experience in the Crypto Gambling industry across both Casino and Sports Products
• Source Control in GitHub
• Experience in using CMS systems
• Use of Automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Github, and writing automation code using C#

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a start-up environment, with the ability to provide flexible working patterns to suit the business needs when necessary
