The Indiana Gaming Commission has given its full approval for Kindred Group’s Unibet brand to operate mobile sports betting in the state.

Unibet Indiana LLC was in May issued a temporary vendor license to offer sports betting in partnership with Caesar Entertainment’s Horseshoe Hammond casino in Hammond, Indiana.

The Commission has now said that during the period operating with a temporary permit, Unibet “substantially demonstrated” its mobile sports wagering activities satisfied all relevant regulations in the state.

As such, the Commission gave its approval for Unibet to roll out its full mobile sports offering in Indiana from tomorrow (July 30).

Kindred in February signed a multi-state agreement with Caesars to launch the Unibet brand in Indiana and Iowa, subject to approval in both states. The Iowa section of the deal covers a partnership with the Harrah’s Council Bluffs casino.
